Granary Entrance

View looking into the eastern most of the eight, storage rooms of Hadrian’s Granary.

On the left side of the image, the projecting arched entranced structure is one of two rooms that were used by the managers of the granary and/or the guards.

If you click on “Maximum Download,” and look on the right side of the image, the beginning of a long Latin inscription is visible—“HORREA etc.”
