Mausoleum of Mevlana

This complex was built in 1274 in Konya. Its turquoise colored tower is a great example of Seljuk architecture. This complex is the site of the whirling dervishes. The mosque was the largest in Anatolia until the Süleymaniaya was built in Istanbul in the 1557.
