Julian's Column

View of a singular column erected to commemorate the visit of the Byzantine Emperor Julian (the apostate, r. 361-363) to the city of Ankara. It is about 45 feet high and is decorated with horizontal ribs, a Byzantine capitol, and a stork's nest.
