City Wall - Towers

View of several towers set into the western wall of the city. View looking south along the wall. The wall is approximately 9,843 ft. [3,000 m.] long and encompasses about 116 acres [47 ha.]. Various portions date to the Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine periods.
