West Portico

A view looking southwest at the western Portico of the House of Julia Felix. Note the frescos on the wall. The doors on the wall give access to dining rooms (triclinia) that could be rented for parties. Each of them opened on to the portico and then on to the beautiful interior garden—on the left side of the image.
