Beach at Nof Ginnosar 2

This is the beach at the resort Kibbutz Nof Ginnosar where often tour boats dock.

The picture was taken on June 2, 2009—a drought year in Israel. The level of the Lake of Galilee was very low at the time. In "normal" years, all of this area would be covered with water and part of the lake!

Note the white metal swimming dock that is high and dry!
