Maktesh Ramon Panorama

View looking east and southeast at the large crater—Maktesh Ramon. Note the steep cliffs on the left (north) side of the maktesh. The bowl like depression is about 24 mi. long, 4.5 mi wide, and 1,500 ft. deep. It was made by erosion.
