Maktesh Ramon Panorama
ID: INHVW01

View looking east and southeast at the large crater—Maktesh Ramon. Note the steep cliffs on the left (north) side of the maktesh. The bowl like depression is about 24 mi. long, 4.5 mi wide, and 1,500 ft. deep. It was made by erosion.

My friend, Jim Monson, labels it the "Super Bowl" on his Regional Study Maps.
