City Wall

View looking east along the southern portion of the city wall of Dan that dates to the period of the Divided Monarchy (930-732 B.C.). The massive wall has been partially reconstructed.

The plaza where the "house of David" inscription was found is located about 40 ft. [12 m.] beyond the end of this wall.
