Wadi Qilt (2)

Water flowing in the bottom of the wadi. Note on the right side of the image a ledge with water flowing off of it – almost like a little waterfall. This "ledge" is in fact an aqueduct that was originally built by Herod the Great (37-4 B.C.) to bring water to his palaces and orchards at Jericho – about 5 mi. [8 km.] further down the valley.
