Tower (MB II Period)

View of the foundations of the massive tower that was situated just west of the MB II City Gate. This tower is 50 ft. [15.6 m.] wide and the stone foundation certainly supported a very high mud brick superstructure from which movements on the Philistine Plain could be observed.
