Northern Trench

View looking west across the archaeologist's trench on the northern slope of Jericho. On the far side of the trench, in the center of the image, walls and burn levels are visible in the baulk.

Some havef suggested that the "house of Rahab" was somewhere in this area (Joshua 2 and 6) but this has not been proven.
