False Start 3

In this image the water is flowing through the channel that the man is standing in. From his vantage point the water flows towards the viewer.

Note the large indentation in the center of the image. This was created by the team of diggers that began at the south end of the tunnel and were working toward the man. They were off course, and had to correct to the left side of this image

The diggers were working away from the viewer in this image.

Here the tunnel is about 5.5 ft. [1.7 m.] high and is close to the point where the two teams of diggers met.
