Mihrab of the Tomb of the Patriarchs
ID: ICHJHB03

View looking at the mihrab of the Tomb of the Patriarchs. This semi-circular indentation in the wall is visible on the left side of the image – just beyond the three kneeling men. On the right of the image the minbar is visible.
The mihrab is a niche or marker which helps Moslem worshippers face toward Mecca during their prayers.
