Jerome Chapel/Tomb

View looking southwest at a small chapel ("tomb") of Saint Jerome. Note the altar and to the right the old inscribed rectangular memorial stone. Jerome died in A.D. 420 after translating the Bible from Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek into Latin (= the Vulgate version).
