Stadium Entrance (1)

View looking northeast at the beginning of the long tunnel (built about 200 B.C., covering now missing) that led into the stadium from the west — from the area of the Temple of Zeus. This entrance was used by the judges, officials, and athletes. The arch has been reconstructed in recent times.
