Artifacts from Carchemish
site
The Museum of Anatolian Civilization in Ankara houses a vast collection of artifacts from central and eastern Anatolia. In the Central Hall there is a rich collection of large slabs that lined the walls of palaces and temples of a number of Neo-Hittite sites. Particularly rich is the collection from Carchemish.
These were excavated by a number of excavations at this important site. Many are from the "Lower Palace."
